Bandrek - Full access

Bandrek starts as the trial version: everything vanilla Mine-imator can do works there. The Bandrek additions listed in Full features need full access. There is nothing to buy; you earn it by being part of the Stegripe community on Discord.

What you need

A Stegripe account. You sign in with Discord.
A seat in the Bandrek Build Discord server. Join the Stegripe Discord and find your way to the Bandrek Build server from there.
Access time, earned by wearing the Stegripe guild tag on your Discord profile.

Earning access time

Pick the Stegripe guild tag as your Discord server tag.

Put it on and you get one week of full access straight away.
Keep it on for one hour and that week is yours. Take it off (or switch to another server’s tag) before the hour is up and the week is taken back.
Each further hour you wear it adds another week.
You can bank up to four weeks ahead. Hours worn beyond that don’t count.
Time you have earned stays yours after you take the tag off, until it runs out.

When the time is used up, Bandrek drops back to the trial version immediately.

Note

Full access only works while you are in the Bandrek Build server. If you leave, your time keeps counting down; rejoin and whatever is left works again.

Logging in

In Bandrek, open Help → Upgrade and press Log in with Stegripe account.
Your browser opens the Stegripe link page. Sign in with Discord if it asks.
Make sure the page shows the same code as Bandrek, then press Link Mine-imator.
Back in Bandrek, the login goes through within a few seconds.

Logging in means you agree to the Mine-imator agreement.

After linking, the page shows whether you are in the server, whether you are wearing the tag and how much time you have, with a button to join the server if you haven’t yet.

Your status

Logged in, Help → Stegripe account (or Help → Upgrade while in the trial) shows the same three things: server membership, the guild tag with your progress towards the next hour, and the access time you have left.

Bandrek checks again on startup and every 10 minutes. Press Refresh if you don’t want to wait, for example right after putting the tag on.

Without internet

Bandrek remembers your last status, so full access keeps working offline for up to 3 days after the last successful check, as long as your time hasn’t run out.

Logging out

Help → Stegripe account → Log out unlinks this computer and puts Bandrek back in the trial version. Your earned time stays on your account.

Coming from 1.0.x

License keys are gone since 1.1.0. Old keys no longer work; log in with your Stegripe account instead.
